CORRECTIONS PROGRAM VOLUNTEER
Each year thousands of Florida Citizens volunteer their time to help many corrections facilities throughout the state. It is an opportunity that is both an important public service and a personally rewarding experience.
Volunteers help the agency to deliver better programs and services. Many volunteers help offenders become more productive, educated, self-sufficient, and law abiding citizens.
To apply you must:
The process for review consists of a Criminal, Civil and Driver’s License check. If eligible and selected, you will undergo a thorough background investigation.

- Be at least 18 years of age
- Must not meet any of the disqualifiers as indicated on the application
- If selected, you must turn in a copy of your Driver’s License and social security card. You must also sign an FDLE Waiver for background purposes.
