Description
JOB PREREQUISITES:
•Must have good verbal and written communication skills
•Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and the general public
•Must possess good computer skills
•Must be organized and able to multi-task
•Valid Driver’s License with good driving record
•Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
•Bend or kneel for extended periods of time
ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES:
•Coordinate repairs of vehicles and equipment
•Develop specifications for new vehicle and equipment purchases
•Installation, repair,and removal of specialized equipment in vehicles
•Issues vehicles to qualified members•Liquidation of retired vehicles and specialized equipment through auction, trade-in or donation
•Properly maintain unassigned fleet vehicles
•Deploy agency sign boards, light plants, and speed monitoring trailers
•Keep Fleet working areaneat,organized, and stocked with required supplies
•Schedule Speedometer calibration•Schedule Radar/Laser certification
•Assist Uniform/Supply when needed.
•Other duties as assigned

To apply you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid Florida Driver’s License
- Possess a High School Diploma or GED
- Must not meet any of disqualifications as indicated on the employment application
- Annual Salary $48,000 firm
- Florida State Retirement
- Health, dental, vision and supplemental insurance is available
- Direct Deposit
